This two-semester course sequence emphasizes a multi-representational approach to algebra, with concepts, results, and problems being expressed graphically, analytically, and verbally. This course is built on the standards set forth by the California Department of Education for Algebra I grades eight through twelve.

U.S. Government & Politics is a one-semester course designed to have student walk away with an understanding of the Constitution, the three branches of government, federalism, civil rights, civil liberties, political beliefs, political parties, interest groups, institutions of government, public policy and local government.

This two-semester course sequence is designed to acquaint students with topics in US History. The course is a survey of United States history through 1865 with a focus on political, diplomatic, economic, social, cultural and intellectual phases of American life in its regional, national, and international aspects.
